i don't think i've ever been so giddy, so desperate, so stupid.
oh the things i would do for you.
i wonder if i'm special at all,
or if you give every girl you meet a little piece of your soul,
just enough to make them think you care.
The reality takes forever to sink in, sometimes you think its surreal, and it was all a dream.
You look at every couple on the streets with disdain, You can't listen to love songs without wanting to cry sometimes, You feel a sense of dread with every single step.
I was with her for 5 years, and it all ended so fast and so sudden, only 2 weeks back.
It feel hopeless, you'll do any desperate thing to find your way back to how things once were. But it won't feel the same.
So, its time to let your hair down. You're single once more. It sounds scary to be alone, and yes it can get quite lonely during the nights.
But it's time for something new, for yourself. For once you can treat yourself better. Only you can care for yourself better than anyone, you can make yourself happy.
You could start with a shopping spree (find sponsors *cough*parents*cough*), and a very close friend to keep you company.
